TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

We are developing a new strand to our work, providing training and development opportunities for freelance musicians, artists and creative thinkers in the eavesdropping community. Following the popularity of our sessions last season on Unconscious Bias, we are offering two more sessions early in 2023, delivered by TONIC Theatre and offered free of charge.

10.30 - 4.30, Saturday 18 February 2023
Making Space for Making Change

A day for individuals who want to drive change in the performing arts. In this bespoke training designed for eavesdropping we will look at what making change means for individuals wanting to have a radical impact on the performing arts and particularly for those working within experimental disciplines. We will also look at how to hold resilient and safe spaces, whether that be in meetings or rehearsals.

Hybrid training for c.20 in-person participants + c.5 online participants. Delivered by Fay Jennett of TONIC Theatre.

Arcola Studios, London. FREE OF CHARGE!

1.30 - 5.00, Friday 31 March 2023
Race and Allyship

Over a few hours we will aim to deepen your learning on the topic of race and allyship by considering the roots and realities of racism in a wider context before bringing it back to the performing arts. This session will be facilitated with a great level of care to ensure that participants who have and have not experienced racism will have a fruitful and rewarding conversation on the active dismantling of racist structures within the arts. This session is bespoke to the eavesdropping community and will leave plenty of space for provocation.

In-person training for 20-25 participants. Delivered by Fay Jennett of TONIC Theatre.

Arcola Studios, London. FREE OF CHARGE!
